Gary R. Jury
November 16, 1943 – April 23, 2025
With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Gary R. Jury, who passed away on April 23. He was a beloved friend and colleague, known for his dedication to the Harlem Township.
Gary's legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the memories he created, and the love he shared so freely. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
As we mourn the loss of Gary, we also celebrate a life well-lived - served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War, General Manager of the Wagon Wheel Resort, Manager of the Hollywood Restaurant, State of Illinois Highway Maintenance Department, Winnebago County Board Member, and Harlem Township Supervisor.
His interests were spending time in his "man cave" with neighborhood friends and family, making sure the yard was well-maintained, but most of all watching his grandchildren grow and prosper.
Gary's memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.
